For our site in Rheinmünster, we are looking to fill the following position as soon as possible: Chemical Operator or Chemical Laboratory Technician (m/f/d) in the Research Pilot Plant. The successful candidate will be part of the team and will primarily be responsible for operating the R&D pilot plant as well as laboratory reactors for the production of latex binders. 

Verantwortungsbereiche

  • Operation and monitoring of a pilot plant and lab reactors for the production of latex, including scheduling of trials in half-shift operation
  • Conducting and documenting quality tests
  • Ensuring availability of the pilot plant through minor repairs 
  • Operation of the white water unit for the pilot plant and research
  • Provision of raw materials for the pilot plant and research

Qualifikationen

  • Training as a chemical operator or chemical laboratory technician
  • Experience handling chemicals and chemical background knowledge, particularly in polymer chemistry
  • Experience working with process control systems
  • Strong interest in working in a research environment
  • Fluent German, both written and spoken, as well as very good English skills
  • Strong awareness of quality and safety
  • Teamwork skills, reliability, and sense of responsibility
  • Flexibility, commitment, and communication skills
