We are looking for a SAP Logistics/OTC Solution Architect Manager (m/f/d) based in Germany (Remote)

 

About the role: 

The SAP Solutions Manager is responsible for defining, implementing and managing IT solutions using SAP and other applications in the end-to-end Warehouse and Logistics (WHL) and Order-to-Cash (OTC) processes on two SAP ERP systems (SAP ECC 6 EHP7 and SAP S/4HANA 2020 versions). He or she will also manage an OTC Solution Architect, two SAP Senior Analysts, the AMS team and consultants supporting Trinseo in the above modules in SAP. The role will architect, design, build and implement strategic SAP solutions for the Trinseo business, focusing on various technologies including cloud-based solutions. 

Verantwortungsbereiche

  • Oversee solutions, integration architecture and architectural governance for product solutions in accordance with enterprise architecture standards.
  • Understand the business strategy of a specific function/area and work with the team to define business requirements.
  • Own responsibility for working with key stakeholders to create SAP solutions and technology roadmaps that align with architectural principles, utilise common solutions and services and meet Trinseo financial targets (cost and value).
  • Responsible for all aspects of SAP solution development, including adherence to Trinseo IT standards in the areas of documentation, change/release management and SDLC processes. Responsible for timely resolution of complex technical and design issues. Supports multiple program and project deliverables simultaneously.
  • Responsible for the day-to-day operational activities and service delivery of relevant third-party vendors.
  • Research and advise functional leadership on best practices, trends and SAP capabilities in support of Trinseo's IT strategy.

Qualifikationen

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field of study, including information technology, business administration, computer science. Advanced degree preferred.
  • 15+ years of hands-on experience implementing SAP logistics/warehouse or OTC (order-to-cash) solutions using Enterprise Resource Planning (SAP) systems with at least three full lifecycle implementations or complex integration projects in an SAP solution architecture role with experience in configuration.
  • Several years of experience in defining SAP solutions and technical architecture for global end-to-end processes in the areas of logistics and order-to-cash in a global manufacturing environment.
  • Experience and in-depth knowledge of implementing and supporting SAP ECC Logistics Execution or S/4HANA Transportation Management is required.
  • Strong project management and team management skills with strong listening, communication, alliance building, negotiation and conflict management skills
  • Experience in cross-application business process modelling and integration with SAP and non-SAP solutions required.
  • Knowledge of SAP OTC (Order to Cash), SAP GTS (Global Trade Services) and SAP EWM (Embedded Warehouse Management) modules preferred
  • Experience integrating SAP with other collaboration and EDI tools such as SAP LBN (Logistics Business Network), Seeburger and Elemica preferred.
  • In-depth knowledge of SDLC methodologies (e.g. waterfall, agile) and ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) best practices and techniques
  • Building relationships with a global perspective and developing local expertise while working effectively in a geographically dispersed organisation.
