Overview (Scope of Role)

As a Sales Director - CASE (m/f/d), you will be Accountable for the Sales organization and enabling the growth of the CASE portfolio in European Business. This role will develop a group of experienced sales and account managers in EMEA. You will be accountable to deliver the sales plan and the future business growth by developing a strong portfolio aligned to the business strategy and ensure maximum value-add for the company. You will excel in developing relationship with target industry players to become a preferred solution provider and develop the Trisneo brand. You will develop strong sales value proposition to meet the changing customer & market needs, in collaboration with the global Technology & Innovation Organization, Manufacturing, and/or Marketing.
 
This is a remote role with Germany as a highly preferred location. Travel to customers and internal facilities is expected to be around 20-40%; primarily in Central Europe. 

Verantwortungsbereiche

  • Lead, develop and motivate the European Sales Team into high performing unit; accountable for CASE portfolio growth and results 
  • Partner across various internal departments to drive strategic development and long-term growth plans within the CASE portfolio 
  • Implement the business growth strategy thorough commercialization of created opportunities
  • Develop KAM & the TRINSEO CASE image in the industry.
  • Represent CASE EMA on various Management Teams.
  • Stay updated and engaged in specialty chemical market trends in relation to portfolio growth strategy 
  • Navigate obstacles in business & team development through proactive communication, forward resolution and a solution-oriented mindset.
  • Develop business cases of regional Capital projects

Qualifikationen

  • Bachelor's Degree or Higher in a relevant field; Engineering Discipline preferred but not required.
  • 10+ years of experience in Sales/Business Development with proven growth track record of success in the specialty chemical industry 
  • CASE or Construction Chemicals/Adhesives industry experience preferred but not required
  • Demonstrated leadership experience 
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Spoken and written fluency in English is required
  • Additional European language proficiencies are a plus
